Team Sports (Matthew Lovett, Jimmy Ottley & Ian Watson) is a sound performance that explores the relationship between a musician and their surroundings. Using the physical environment as a musical score, the group respond to sounds, visual stimuli, and other environmental occurrences to create a piece that engages with all aspects of the sound continuum.

A free one day event which took place in the Brecon Beacons National Park on 30th October, 2011 as part of Powys Arts Month.  The event comprised an artist-led journey on foot, to caves at Craig y Cilau National Nature Reserve. The event  included installations, performances, readings and improvised music. The project’s title is derived from 18th Century graffiti in the caves by Frederick J Fredericks.
